Fanless Server Mini

The FSM EP4S 50 is a compact, fanless, server grade edge computing platform designed for environments that demand high compute density, reliability, and long term stability, without the maintenance risks associated with active cooling.

Built around the AMD EPYC™ 4004 series processor, the system delivers true server class performance at the edge, supporting up to 12 cores / 24 threads and 192 GB of DDR5 ECC memory. This makes it ideally suited to workloads that exceed the capabilities of traditional rugged PCs, including virtualisation, containerised services, and high memory industrial applications.

The rugged aluminium chassis is in house designed and milled to optimise passive heat dissipation, enabling completely fanless operation while maintaining stable performance across an operating temperature range of 10 °C to +50 °C. With no moving parts, the FSM EP4S 50 is inherently resistant to dust ingress, vibration, and mechanical wear, significantly reducing failure rates and ongoing maintenance.
Designed as a true edge server, the platform supports dual high speed networking (up to 2 × 10 GbE) alongside a dedicated management LAN (IPMI) for out of band control, remote monitoring, and recovery. Combined with onboard watchdog support, this architecture ensures maximum uptime in remote or unattended deployments.

Despite its compact footprint, the FSM EP4S 50 supports high performance NVMe storage via dual PCIe Gen5 M.2 slots, making it suitable for data intensive workloads at the edge. The system is fully compatible with Windows Server, major enterprise Linux distributions, and VMware ESXi, reinforcing its role as a deployment ready edge server rather than an embedded controller.
Rated to IP51, the enclosure provides protection against dust and vertically falling water droplets, making it well suited to industrial, factory floor, rack, cabinet, and controlled edge environments where airflow, vibration, or contamination would be problematic for traditional servers.
